Last year when I was entering Highschool for the first time, everyone seemed to warn me that “it’s not all fun and games.” Or “the people you least expect will change.” I kinda of nodded my head but didn’t really believe them. Just thought, yeah that happens in the movies, but it won’t happen to me and my friends. When I think about it I feel kinda cheesy and lame, but they were right. It’s easy to get off track by accident. But you’re probably thinking, kay so where does LK come into this? One of my friends I met this year introduced me to it. My friend and I both have the same morals and try to go through life with God in mind. She had such a passion for this Love Knits thing and I wanted that too! I could tell by the way she talked about it I would love it. My first Love Knits experience was amazing! I love just hanging out with the girls because we can be whoever we want to be and don’t have to worry about being judged! Then when I was taught how to crochet it really got bad. I couldn’t stop!! My mom even had to hide my crocheting from me once so I would help her with the dishes. Whenever I look at a ball of yarn the fun times and inside jokes from our LK get togethers fly through my mind! And even when people say “so all you do is like sit around and knit?!” it doesn’t bother me in the slightest. I try to explain it to them that no, we just hangout and have an awesome time! They just don’t get it. But once you come to one, you’re hooked!! We act like little kids and talk about how much we never want to grow up, because before you know it’s gone! Love Knits helped me remember that being who you are, and having fun is always the way to go! THANKS LK.
