80 and counting…

A few months ago I saw a segment on 100 Huntley Street about Heart for Africa collecting toques for 15,000 orphans. I started right away and even managed to get my mom hooked on crocheting (pardon the pun). But why stop there?  At the start of February I invited friends and family to come over and learn how to ‘love knit’ as well. There were sisters, a mother and daughter, an engaged couple, a new family, a new mother, mother-to-be and friends all crocheting together, eating, and having fun. Together we were able to make over 80 toques for Africa and have collected more since then. Spread the love (knits), it feels good…
